They didn't appreciate McCain questioning their work ethic

Just another tidbit on how detached from the concerns of working Americans Senator John McCain is.
But he took more questions, including a pointed one on his immigration plan.

McCain responded by saying immigrants were taking jobs nobody else wanted. He offered anybody in the crowd $50 an hour to pick lettuce in Arizona.

Shouts of protest rose from the crowd, with some accepting McCain's job offer.

"I'll take it!" one man shouted.

McCain insisted none of them would do such menial labor for a complete season. "You can't do it, my friends."

Senator McCain is no friend to the American worker, doing everything in his power to undercut their wages and everything in earnest to displace American jobs with foreign workers.

Comments

I concur. It's amazing to me how public speakers, through so many years in the limelight still make the stupidest comments.
It's not exactly "menial" labor if its 50.00 an hour. Hello!!!!!

McCain won't make the Presidential Primaries; he's fine when it comes to foreign affairs (from a Neocon perspective), but just lousy on domestic and border issues (from a conservative perspective).

This next election will very strongly on foreign affairs (Iran, China) and border security.

McCain is through; anyway, that's my opinion.
